The 7th Annual Emerald City ComiCon is this weekend and Fleet Street Scandal is going to be there in full force! I'm pretty excited to go up to Seattle and see my old friends because I haven't been back since I moved to LA two years ago. We've been getting some cool things ready for the show, including brand new prints of all the Japanese Yuki 7 posters! These are going to be really cool, and BIG (24" x 8")! By the way, here's the last poster in that series, "To Catch a Temptress":

In other news, we just sold out of our first self-published book, "Fleet Street Scandal: A Collection"! It was a book I never really wanted to make because I thought it was lazy to take a bunch of old work and throw it together into a book. But we ended up spending a lot of time and effort to make it the best quality possible, and we gained a lot of knowledge about book publishing that has become very useful in our other endeavors. So I'm still proud of the book, and feel a little sad that it's gone, but the timing is perfect since the new Yuki 7 book will be coming in just a few short months!
While I'm reminiscing, here's some shots from around the studio. The first is my "work wall" where I pin up in-progress work and reference to inspire me.

And here's a picture of a piece I'm working on for the Street Fighter show at Nucleus next month!

Hope to see lots of you in Seattle this weekend! |

Here's a look at the cover for the book! The last 2 months were pretty grueling trying to meet our deadline, but it was all worth it! The book's off to the printer now and I couldn't be more excited with how it turned out. I was especially blown away by all of the phenomenal Yuki artwork my friends did. Here's a few more:

Also, Chris and I are going to be back in our old stomping grounds - SEATTLE! - for the Emerald City Comic-Con in just two weeks! We're going to have a ton of stuff for sale, including all of the English and Japanese Yuki posters. Speaking of which, here's the Japanese poster for "Roman Rendezvous"!

More details soon! |
